Capricorn Clothing Company started with a simple idea. That there is a great deal worth celebrating about Central Queensland, and not nearly enough to wear that says so.
So we make it. The designs are drawn here, the clothing is pressed here, and every order is packed and posted from Rockhampton by the same hands that made it. Nothing gets sent off to a printer somewhere else and forwarded on.
What you will find here
Our collections change through the year. Some are about this region and the towns and country in it. Some belong to local names we are proud to carry. Others turn up simply because somebody had an idea worth putting on a shirt. New collections arrive as we design them, so the shelf rarely looks the same twice.
Everything comes in adult, ladies and kids, with each one sized on its own measurements rather than squeezed into a single dropdown, so what arrives is what you were expecting.
Labels we carry
Alongside our own designs, you will find clothing here for The Capricorn Line and Two King’s Racing, with more to be added over time. If you run a local business and you want merchandise out there without tying up money in stock or clearing space in the shed for boxes of shirts, you can list your designs with us and we will take care of the rest. Who is behind it
We are a small Rockhampton operation, and a deliberately hands on one. We are owned by Namsyn Group Pty Ltd and our sister business is Marketing Unagency Co.
We are not a big operation and we are not trying to become one. What we care about is making clothing people are glad they bought, from people they can actually reach.
What matters to us
Three things, really.
That the clothing is good enough to wear out, not just good enough to sit in a drawer.
That anyone who orders from us is looked after by a real person, not a ticket number.
And that this part of the world gets its due, because it has earned it.
